We Inspire, Incorporated seeks to raise $2,950 to pay for the submission of songs written by our participants to ASCAP for copyright purposes and our guest speakers we have chosen to participate in our workshops.  Our approach is very aggressive in targeting the 10 – 18 year old population.  In most cases they do not have the finances to pay or the understanding of the processes involved with publishing and copyrighting.  Also their parents may not have the desire to financially support their dreams at this age.   We also have adult participants that have some musical background yet no knowledge of copyrighting except sending a copy of the works to their self in the mail.  This is where we come in.

We believe that the earlier a person is introduced to specific learning, the more open and creative they will be in their efforts to utilize that learning for their educational and economic advancement.

  • Project-based approach: Each of our participants takes on a musical project that consists of applying four main elements:
    • Lyrics
    • Mood
    • Rhythm
    • Orchestration
  • While working on the project, the participants develop a variety of skills. We believe that the project approach provides a meaning and a context to the learning process.
  • Projects explore topics that enhance skills as publishers, writers and performers. The finished project will consist of a written musical composition and the step by step process of getting the finished material copy written and published.
