We Inspire, Inc. is a non-profit arts and education organization. We provide our participants the opportunity to explore phases of the music and publishing business from a “hands-on” perspective. Larry Barrett is the Executive Director of We Inspire, Inc and is a member of ASCAP as a writer and publisher. Larry Barrett has been involved in the music business for the past 38 years.

It is true that our children need a safe place to play and learn and teen pregnancy, youth gangs and dropping out of school can have lasting consequences for young people and those around them. Due to the lack of programs in the area that foster the development of musical creativity; this service was created. When the conversation turns to the question of how does music play a role in the academic advancement of learners, we believe it is important to note that research has shown that music has a dominant effect in increasing the participant’s motivation, helping them to focus better, and solve problems more creatively. It is that creativity that we seek to cultivate.
