Larry L. Barrett

A second chance can change a life

Born and raised in Chicago, Larry L. Barrett is the seventh child of Irene Barrett. During a difficult time, he left school. His mother’s determination helped bring him back, and he graduated high school on time.

At age 59, Larry returned to college. At 63, he earned an Associate in Applied Sciences in Music Business with a 3.27 GPA. His journey taught him that setbacks do not have to decide what happens next. With encouragement, responsibility, and practical steps forward, people can build a new direction.
